Inauguration of Africa China Chairmen of Business Forum (ACCBCF) in Abuja Sets New Milestone in Bilateral Economic Cooperation

The Africa China Chairmen of Business Forum (ACCBCF) was formally established on 30 March 2026 in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. Headquartered within the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment complex, the Forum serves as a strategic institutional bridge linking African and Chinese governments, enterprise leadership, and institutional capital.

During the inaugural ceremony, leaders underscored the Forum guiding principles: Government Guidance, Chamber Collaboration, Enterprise Leadership, Market Orientation, and Win-Win Cooperation. The Forum will operationalize four strategic cooperation models: Government to Government (G2G), Government to Business (G2B), Business to Business (B2B), and Business to Capital (B2C).

Representatives highlighted key priority sectors for immediate bilateral action, notably modern agro-processing, critical minerals value addition, and distributed renewable energy infrastructure. The newly established Secretariat reaffirmed its commitment to providing institutional-grade project facilitation, legal compliance safeguards, and cross-border financial matchmaking.
